Hoodwink is an indie rock band hailing from Indianapolis, formed in 2023. What began as a stripped-down three-piece—Kyle Bolender (guitar/vocals), Jeremy Johnson (bass), and Vivek Bigelow (drums)—quietly took shape in attics and small stages, playing sporadic shows while working behind the scenes on their first recordings. That low-key period culminated in a six-song EP released in 2024, capturing the band’s early sound and momentum. Shortly after its release, Hoodwink  expanded into a four-piece with the addition of lead guitarist Gary Martinez, who also mastered the EP. With the lineup complete, the band entered its next chapter ready to push beyond its origins.
